Training 培训 1.1 Online-course Learning Incentive Program Members can take any courses on Coursera platform and get RMB 200/course from the Union by providing evidence of successful completion such as screenshot or electronic certificate, etc. Members Only
1.2 Free Books Program The Trade Union will release a book list based on the recommendations from members three times a year; members can choose up to two books every time and get for free. Every member can get up to 6 books for free every year. Members Only
Team Building 团队建设 2.1 Team Building Fund In order to encourage team spirit, the Union will provide up to RMB 50/time (up to 8 times per year) to each member of the Union who attend a small group activity. Criteria: 1) attended by 5 or more members of the Union; 2) appropriate activities such as group meals, Karaoke, movie watching, etc.; 3) Official invoice must be submitted with the Union’s reimbursement form; 4) The activity must NOT be an event funded by DKU. i.e. you cannot use DKU money to pay for the group meal and simultaneously get subsidies from the Union. Members Only
Gifts 送温暖 3.1 Holiday Gifts Different types of gifts will be purchased by the Union and given to all DKU staff and faculty before the holidays. The holidays include:
  • Teacher’s Day (Sep.10)
  • Mid-Autumn Festival (Sep. 21)
  • Chongyang Day (Oct. 14)
  • Annual Appreciation (Dec. 25)
  • Spring Festival (Jan.31)
  • Women’s Day (Mar. 8)
  • Dragon Boat Festival (Jun. 3)
  • Summer Treat (Summer)

3.2 Birthday Gifts Every month, Lily will send emails to those with upcoming birthdays who can choose 1 out of 2 options as their birthday’s gifts from the Union. All Staff/Faculty
Life and Health 生活 与健康 4.1 Personal Gym Membership Funding Program The Union will provide RMB 1000/year subsidy to those who have purchased gym memberships or similar memberships. Official invoices or other legitimate evidence must be submitted to get the subsidy. The subsidies will be processed all at once at the beginning of each academic year. Members Only
4.2 Wellness-check Incentives Once a year, the Union will provide a gift to those members who have had wellness-check covered by MSH. Official document or evidence must be submitted to be eligible. The gifts will be processed all at once at the beginning of each academic year. All Faculty/Staff
4.3 Sports Events The Trade Union will organize a series of sports event including the following:
  • Table Tennis
  • Badminton
  • Tennis
  • Frisby

Art & Culture Events 艺术和文化活动 5.1 Thanksgiving Meal The Trade Union will provide a Thanksgiving meal to all members. Members Only
5.2 Suzhou Museum Visit and related activities The Trade Union will organize visits and cultural activities to the Suzhou Museum. All Staff/Faculty
5.3 Seasonal Photography Contest The Trade Union will hold photography contests. Members Only
5.4 Movie Coupons The Trade Union will provide movie coupons. Members Only
5.5 Performance Tickets The Trade Union will provide performance tickets. Members Only

4.2 Health Check-up Program Every academic year, the Union negotiates a special discounted health check-up package with hospitals exclusively for DKU employees with regular shuttle bus services. The check-up cost is covered by the insurance purchased by the university. All Staff/Faculty
